The INES, Inflatable Nytrogen Environmental Storage, has done a fantastic job. For 15 years the ERA has been stored in it, oxygen free, and is now actually going into space. Handsome work from Enkhuizen.

More and more magazines are dropping into your mailbox with a bioplastic wrapper. Wrappers that bear a Home OK compost or Home compostable logo may go on the compost pile. All other bioplastic wrappers belong in residual waste for now. For now, we are going for reuse and recylcing.

For example, all oxo-degradable plastic products will be banned after July 3, 2021. These products appear to be biodegradable. They are not. When the plastic comes in contact with oxygen and sunlight, it breaks down into small pieces. These microplastics end up in nature and are very harmful.
